Terms and Conditions of sale
OWNERSHIP OF GOODS
Risk of damage to or loss of goods shall pass to the customer at the time of delivery. However, Opening the Book Promotions Ltd retains the legal right for all goods until they are paid for in full, at which time ownership (title) of the goods will pass to the customer.
NON-STOCKED ITEMS
Non-Stocked items are non-nable in the event of customer error. Such goods are only returnable with permission from Opening the Book Promotions Ltd when supplied either faulty or damaged.
Please note that cancellation of orders for Non-Stocked goods must be made within 3 days of the date of placing the order.
Changes to the specification of the order must be made within 3 days of receiving our order acknowledgment.
DAMAGED GOODS AND CLAIMS
If goods are delivered damaged Opening the Book Promotions Ltd must be notified within 5 days of receipt of the goods, otherwise claims cannot be considered.
If any damage is noticed at the time of delivery, documentation must be signed accordingly and delivery refused. Call Customer Service on 0121 236 9332 to report damage.
PRICES
All prices are exclusive of VAT which will be added to all UK and EC orders where applicable at the current rate. All prices are net.
PAYMENT
Where credit is provided, payment is required within 30 days from the invoice date. Please pass invoices for part deliveries immediately – the remaining items will be invoiced separately at the time of despatch.
Opening the Book Promotions Ltd reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue invoices.
REMITTANCE
Payment may be made by cheque payable to Opening the Book Promotions Ltd or by bank transfer. Bank details available on request.
DELIVERY
Standard delivery for stocked products is included in the advertised price and is within 10 working days. Non-Stocked items are marked with delivery lead times in weeks. A delivery charge of £7.50 will be made for orders less than £75.
Delivery dates quoted are approximate and Opening the Book Promotions Ltd cannot be held liable for any delay in delivery of goods.
RETURNS
Items damaged in transit may be returned without charge provided the damage is reported within 5 working days of receipt of goods. If any items are shipped incorrectly or wrongly ordered call 0121 236 9332 within 10 working days to obtain returns authorisation.
Non-Stocked goods are nonreturnable unless faulty, please see ”Damaged Goods and Claims”.
- Always obtain authorisation before returning goods, call 0121 236 9332.
- All goods must be returned within 30 days in pristine condition in the original packaging. We reserve the right to withhold full credit if any goods are received back without their original packaging or in a condition unfit for re-sale.
- A collection charge will be applied for non-faulty goods.
WARRANTY POLICY
Goods are covered by a one-year warranty for defects in materials and workmanship. The invoice is your certificate of warranty and the invoice number must be included when submitting a warranty claim.
NOTICE OF CHANGES
Opening the Book Promotions Ltd reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the terms of this catalogue as well as the availability, design, specifications and price of the merchandise.
Opening the Book Promotions Ltd also disclaims all liability for typographical or other errors.
